Scott Higgs

Scott Higgs, PT, MPT

Scott is a lifelong resident of South Louisiana. He graduated from Hammond High School where he excelled athletically and academically and was active in many clubs. He received the American Legion award for service, named all state in Football and elected Mr. Hammond High. He attended Louisiana State University graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with emphasis in Human Movement. He received his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of South Alabama in 2003. He has worked his entire career in outpatient orthopedic setting. Scott has extensive education in industrial rehabilitation, dry needling, sacroiliac dysfunction, biomechanical dysfunctions of the shoulder, foot and ankle including orthotic fabrication. He resides in Springfield with his wife Carrie, together they have six children. He is active member of his community attending St Albert’s church, coaching and volunteering at St. Joseph’s School. He also coaches in the local youth recreational football and basketball leagues. He enjoys his free time spending time with his family, cooking, yardwork, and sports of all kind.
